A new film on the
history of torture and illegal detainment that
takes a hard look at the choices facing
America. Since
9/11/00, terrible crimes have been committed in the name of homeland
security.
'Justice Weeps' examines the sanctioning of torture and war crimes by
the Bush
Administration, the domestic and international
laws that have
been broken, and the way to justice and accountability. The film also
discusses
the new administration's policies toward detainees to see what has
really changed,
and what atrocities continue.

Activists
from Code Pink and World Can't Wait stage a protest outside of San
Francisco's
Federal Courthouse
in this new video. The vibrant and boistrous action centers on the delivery of a formal judicial complaint against Judge Jay Bybee- one of the architects of the now infamous "Torture Memos" used by the Bush administration to justify the harsh and inhumane treatment of their prisoners. This heartfelt and poetic video is a strong statement for justice and accountability. |
